10 in primary 3 in the bottle(days that is)

Wait till you try that 3068 wheat youv'e got in primary when its young an fresh!

Got a stout carbed that was pitched 2 weeks ago. Mighty tempting to start drinking it now. Seems about right. Funny part is I always feel guilty drinking beer too young. Not sure why.

Ped-ale-ophobic Warren?

bra - it was 6 days primary and 9 days 2ndary. Fully carbed after 5 days so I hooked in :beerbang: I cant wait for the 3068 wheat - bottling tomorrow. SG samples are beautiful, bubblegum, banana, spice..delicious.

warren - drink the bloody things!

Cheers

Oookayy you twisted me arm.

Hard to keep your hands off stout.

My last APA I was keen to get into the keg. No-chilled overnight, 5 days primary, then straight into the keg, chilled overnight, force carbed, then drinking.

What's that about 7 days grain to brain.

Was very yeasty at the start. Wouldn't do it again without a filter.

Not my effort but I've tasted another brewer's wheat at 6 days grain to brain.
Keggers have it all over we poor bottlers in the speed stakes.

Pretty much anything I brew with US-56, normally 6-8 days primary then 7 days secondary with gelatine, then keg. If I brew on a weekend I can drink it 2 weeks later

A further compelling argument Slugger. :) My Stout was fermented with US56. Yeast has dropped out completely.

Made my first beer for 9 months last friday (Australia Day). Poured the first glass from the fermenter the next tuesday. Kegged on wednesday, so 4-5 days.

Was an APA 1.045 OG, US-56.

cheers

Bloody hell Darren - You must have been gagging for a drink if you're drinking that already :chug:

cheers Ross

now I am looking forward to getting me keg set up in a couple of weeks time :beerbang: I forgot keggers can do it faster
Cheers

Seven days for a hefe-weizen, brewed Sunday night then served (albeit very very cloudy) the following Saturday night!!

Kit and kilo needs at least 3 weeks in the bottle to taste ok.

AG can be ready to drink as soon as it is clearish and carbonated.

Seven days from grain to brain, must be a t-shirt in there.

Franko! AHB t-shirts...7 days from grain to brain?

standard for my wheats is 7-10 days primary (no secondary) and then straight into the keg, leave overnight to chill and force carbonate.

other beers i tend to have 7-10 days primary and then around 7 in secondary. usually this equates to 14 days from kettle to keg.

My low gravity bitters ( 1.035-40 ) can be done in 5 -7 days, and i always keg em as soon as they are done, they taste great when young i reckon.
