5kg Bairds Perle Malt
.3kg red wheat malt
.2 cara-pils

10g Galaxy at 30m
30g Galaxy at 10m
30g Citra at 10m
10g Cascade at 10m

US-05

BUT

If one was to make the aforementioned recipe, and then an IPA on the same weekend, and that person was dumb enough to dry hop this recipe with 30g Simcoe and 30g of Amarillo that were meant for the IPA because ********'s ADD had kicked in and he wasn't paying enough attention and therefore fermented this recipe with the dry hopping and 2 x Safale US-05 yeast packets, what would the taste be like?

Oh and it's in the fridge at 19.4 for 2 weeks now.

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

That recipe looks familiar.

And based on that vague familiarity, it'll taste like a fantastic borderline APA/AIPA.

I dry hopped this recipe with 30g Cascade and 20g Citra (in the keg) and it was absolutely fantastic. Wait until you have your first *burp*.

I'm still throwing up whether I prefer Rye or Red Wheat, but both make a fantastic beer.

Honesty I think it will rock, in a fruit punch sort of way. Having just bottled an all galaxy beer on Sunday, and having a pint from the fermenter (uncarbonated), I reckon the amarillo willl add a whole new dimension, and might even take some of that fruity flavour blast away.

Tell us what you think once youre cracking your first few

If you're making a fruit punch APA you really can't go wrong with chucking nearly everything at it.

Sometimes though the "less is more" rule applies; it might have been better with a more simple hop regime. Often is.

Most of the famous beers worldwide have simple hop bills.
