hi guys,
Ive had a couple of goes at dry hopping, and double dry hopping with reasonable results (too conservative on the qty = will add more next batch)

i know the dry hopping subject has been discussed over & over, but with so many thoughts on ideal fermenter temps & timing techniques to best extract the oils etc What about wet hopping instead? (that's what i`m calling it anyways)

Steep or short boil your regular dry hop bill in say 1 to 1.5 lt water, allow to cool and toss into your fermenter once fermentation is complete (or at the same time you`d usually dry hop)

I`m thinking that way you could commence a cold crash much sooner and maybe save a few days, AND guarantee the the flavor extraction we crave from our favorite hops without having to be mindfull of the "ideal temps for hops to impart that GOOOODness.

Thoughts?
