View New does not work

Tried to search, but got the "contains less than three characters" error, which, not sure about anyone else, but where in the search phrase "view new does not work" is there a word of less than three characters?

Anyway, what is wrong with View New? Every morning I get on and View New, all I get is maybe six to eight posts, starting in the AM somewhere. Nothing since I last viewed the site the day before.

Is "new" new this morning?
Is "new" new since I last logged in?
Is "new" new since I was last "active" on the site?

You can set how view new works. Should change the results.
When you click 'view new', you should get a window top left with settings you can alter such as content type, time period, etc.

As for 'search' use the bar top right and make sure the orange box is selected to 'google' (you can change but google should be default).

Ah awesome Manticle, that certainly helped changing it to content not read, but still not sure, my last visit would not have been since mid-day yesterday, the default was "since my last visit".

Sometimes your settings get reset - no idea why but happened to me recently too.
I have mine set to 'in last week' - seems to work best.
If that doesn't fix it, put a report into admin and let me know if you don't hear anything in a reasonable amount of time.
