Hi Removed the bottom plastic container in the fridge because I was tired of trying to get the gas line and tap in - only couple of inches to move in.

I put a shelf on top, well put back piece of glass - now the issue is the gas line does reach across to other keg.
I am thinking of a splitter. Would it be nec. to some sort of regulator or manifold. The gas only goes in one way so I dont see an issue of it coming back when other is one vice versa. I know if you want to have different pressures should have manifold but would me making a second hole and 2 lines?

Before I do anything I thought I would check. I will really only be pouring one beer at a time, the other will be clearing etc ..

cheers

Gas manifold will come in handy later down the track. You will eventually want to have more than one beer on tap at once, I hear you saying nahhh not me..... give it a year or two then come back here and tell me I was wrong:cool:

I have 4 kegs in the fridge ( 2 x 9.5l top shelf; 2 x 12l on the bottom). As I'm not bother about different co2 pressures I have one gas line into the fridge and a 4 way splitter. Note as the 4 kegs are connected in terms of pressure, this pressure can balance out between the kegs and if you get beer in a gas line it will go into all the lines of all kegs ( bugger to clean and sanitise) so I have gas disconnects with a non return valve in them. I run two taps with my set up, works well.

Most if not all co2 manifolds have non return valves incorporated into each outlet, the non return disconnects are probably good insurance, and a dam good idea if your just going to use a line splitter.

I've got a 3 way manifold if your interested.

Individual non return valves are great if you force carb and forget to release the pressure before connecting your other kegs.
