Thats what I meant. Are the element and temp probe totally submersible?

Ahh... I understand. I've got a water-tight cap for the thermowell, but am yet to find something for the bitey bit of the element. My intent there is just to make cleaning easier.

When brewing with this kettle, I usually ferment in 8.5litre Decor storers, which are designed to be food-safe in the microwave. I decant to them and chill the fermenter in the ice bath rather than the kettle.

3g/l cascade @ 30 minutes
3g/l cascade @ 20 minutes

3g/l cascade @ 0 minutes

1272 American Ale 2 Yeast

p.s. kook your on the money i use this as a CIP as well, could be used as a Hopback, someone who does partials, tea parties the uses are endless :icon_cheers: cost me less than $50 all up.
 
Used the hop stopper today in the FBBoiler on a 23litre batch of stuff. Should be mandatory on all kettles.
