Taps On Kettles

just looking at this as i'm fitting the tap soon, i've got both normal thread tape and gas fitting thread tape, what have you fellas used ?

i used the pink stuff.. i think its high temp.

the gasfit tape goes up to 300*C so i'll use it i spose.
