If you used straight 1kg of sugar, it'd probably ferment to 1006. As you have used BE1, there are more 'unfermentable' types of sugar in the wort, they won't all ferment out as straight sugar will.

So, the best you will get is 1012 - however it will be a better beer, as the unfermentable stuff in BE1 will add a depth of flavour that you won't get with sugar.

Cheers - Mike

PS- try and keep the temp down to 18deg throughout the ferment - you will be a MUCH nicer product.

The can instruction are probably assuming just using a kilo of sugar. The brew booster will make it finish at about 1.012, so it should be finished.
