Hi,

This is my first stalled ferment I think. Pitched 15g US-05 to 22l of 1.056 Scotch Ale. Fermented at 18-19c very actively for 2 1/2 days only.
21 days later I'm ready to bottle. Didn't take readings along the way. Taken a gravity reading of 1.022, checked hydrometer and did another to be sure. Expected OG 1.014. Not sure what to do now.
I've turned my heater up 20, given the fermenter a swirl. Should I bump it up to 22c? and wait another week. I'm eager to use the yeast cake on a 'Wee Heavy' am I stuffing this cake up?

Sounds like a good approach for now. See If there is any change in gravity over the next couple of days.

Where were you expecting it to finish?

@ 15g it must've been.

I'd be hesitant to to use a lazy yeast on that wee heavy mate... Very hesitant
