Yep I have grain (no charge for crushing) and heaps of hops (especially NZ whole flower hops) in stock, and at present I am here & open 7 days 9am-9pm inc public holidays (not this Sunday though as I have promised my young fella a day at the playground and a vist to the airport to watch the planes take off and land :) )

I like to think my overall prices are extremely competitive . I like to look after my locals :D
I'm also a firm believer that hops belong in the fridge at ALL times....not on the shelf in the shop.......

Now it's 9 o'clock...& I'm going home :D

great - i sent you a pm asking for grain prices and still no response.

Maybe - within those seven days you are open you can send me a price list....

:)

GMK: There is a price list on his website...

:icon_offtopic: Hey Braufrau, I still have your cooler bag, bowl and cake dish from the December brewday/swap here...............much as I like extra cookware, I don't have much time for it anymore :D.......perhaps you/someone would like to arrange to collect it sometime? (I've PM'd you more than once, but you don't answer...)

By the way, your contribution to the swap was a goodie.....came in the top few as far as enjoyable/drinkable goes for me and the missus. Nice .

Oh sorry! I'm so bad. We were down your way on the weekend and I forgot to ring you!
How about we pick it up the weekend after easter? I'll PM you.

Glad you liked my beer. Can I quote you the next time partial vs AG debate raises its head? :)

I just had a look and Wayne does not seem to list the prices for full bags of grain.

I recently bought bags of grain from Holden Hill Bill and I found that the prices had increased significantly.
I am not complaining as I do realise that price increases are inevitable but both me and the wallet got a bit of a shock.

I was not aware that Darren carried stocks as he would have been my preffered option for the imported grains.

Cheers

Does Bill have a website?
Had a quick look but couldnt find one.

While my brother was in a our local I asked him to pick me up some grain, the bird behind the counter (looking after the shop for the owner) looked at him as though saying 'can you make beer from that chook food stuff?' after a quick look around the shop told him that we dont stock raw ingredients...but can get them in! Pffft
But they more than suited my purpose for K&K.

I've just put an order in at grumpys, for $8 delivered to your door - i was quite happy with that.

Ken,
All due respect, but I do business via my website and business email, not PM on AHB as I am not a sponsor here and I don't think it's appropriate. But regardless, apologies for not getting back to you before now. At the present having only just moved into business premises, things are extremely busy and I am doing my level best to catch up with piles & piles of emails and orders. I'm waiting for updated malt price-lists myself which is also part of the delay - hopefully I will get them soon. As soon as I do, you'll hear from me.

I will also be listing prices by the sack on the website very soon, but as I have only just moved into premises suitable to carry that level of stock it's in the long long list of things that still need to be organised and carried out...once the appropriate levels of stock are here on premise to be able to offer reliable supply I will update the website.

Yes Braufrau, you are welcome to quote me on your APA. I enjoyed it ! (I ended up with more than one bottle of it :D) I'll bring your gear down to the workshop for your collection whenever suits you.

I've chatted to him about him having a website, and essentially he has told me that he wants one and it's in the works, but that could mean anything, really. Websites are quite necessary these days...
