Was just wondering my keg ran out about 2 weeks ago and is still hooked up to the gas,i have another brew ready to keg and it was the same as the last batch is it ok to rack into this keg without cleaning and sanitizing?

Always best to rinse & sanitise; though I've often refilled without doing so when a keg has just run dry.
You'll feel pretty angry though if you refill & find the dregs of the previous one have indeed turned & wrecked your new brew.

Cheers Ross

hahaha - first step to having a ***** batch IMO!
Ten mins vs 2 hours (at least) of hard work brewing just to be rotten :p

i just thought, well, its possible to brew a batch ontop of an old yeast cake so it must be possible to dump a brewed batch into a keg that held the same batch.

just kegged it and for some reason it looked a lot better going into a cleaned and sanitized keg ,
funny that

its just a sych thing i suppose
