Am I mistaking the bubblegum taste I've read about for pea and ham soup taste?
Did a search and can find nothing about pea and ham but plenty on bubblegum.
It's the second time it's happened. Both lagers. First was FWK fermented at lager temps and second was lager kit (not sure which as the Mrs threw out my notes) with half a kilo of DLME, S-04/5 at 18-20. Both had temp raised after initial fermentation.
Still drinkable and actually not bad after a bit of keg conditioning but still nevertheless an off flavour. The Mrs hates it though.
