Hi all,

Does anyone have a kit and kilo Paulaner Oktoberfest recepie or something that will come close?

Many thanks

Matt

Sorry no recipe.

With you on this one though. Had a stein with it the other day and now im keen to attempt it.

Recipes on the net seem to be saying 70% Munich 30% Pilsener with Hallertau to 25IBU. Haven't tried it, sounds tasty though! Kit & Kilo version, hmmm....

What about Coopers Canadian Blonde can, 750 g LDME, 250 g Dextrose, steep 300 caramunich I, 20 gms Hallertau for 60 mins, Wyeast 2633 Octoberfest Lager or Saf 34/70....just thinking.

Also just thinking.....

2 x Coopers Euro lager or Heritage lager
200g LDME (for the hop boil)
300g caramunich II (for added flavour & colour)
30 min boil of Hallertau 20g ish

and the yeast jyo mentioned sounds good

That should make a nice strong lager, esp if you can ferment nice and cool like 12*c
