I have a simple question

When is it traditionally brewed.?

I know there is like an off shoot called marzen that stands for march

For tradition, should i brew it in march, bulk prime the keg and let it sit in the cold over winter and crack it on the 1st of october to drink in my 1 liter oktoberfest steins :beerbang:

and get really driunk and bang my stein on the coffee table

mmmmmmmm bugger tradition....... sounds good to me.

I will have to talk the wife into one of those beer wench suits they wear :p

come on october :chug:

cheers

That's what Ray Daniels reckons, brewed in March then lagered until September when the first casks are cracked with great fanfare

Cheers.

Oktoberfest (and all other lager beer) traditionally brewed in Northern Hem. springtime (March)
Summer was regarded as too hot. They stored the beer cold over summer and cracked it in September.

Our Southern Hemisphere version could be brought forward to March.

Is that good news Tony?

The outfit worn by beer girls is called a dirndl. The beer girls wear the sexy version :super:

I've been looking for one at a reasonable price for a photoshoot. My other hobby is photography, and I want to combine the two by making some beer labels featuring them. :D

Girls in Dirndls are one thing... heres a pic I snapped at last years Oktoberfest on the run...
Girls in Leederhozen.... :beerbang:
