Hi all, just wanted to share good news. I have made a 18m copper immersion chiller and used it for the first time today. I read a lot of people saying that 18m is too long and it would only circulate hot water through the last 3to4 m of the tubing, so im here to say that they were wrong! I'm victorious today. 26L of belgian ipa in 6 mins. WINNING. Worth the money. Cheers

Wow! Nice work! 6mins? Just tap water? 20L batch?

interested to know what a Belgian ipa would taste like

I did a Belgian Kolsch. It's on tap now. It's beer and I figure they are neighbours.

Did they taste good together or did the German flavour take over and invade your palate

A little but the cheese eating surrender monkeys actually managed to mount a counter attack that worked.

Just tap water. My intention was to be able to clean up with the water, but it was cooled before I could finish.
