I would like to make a memorial beer for my old man who passed away this January. All the family will be meeting at the end of Jan (2007) for a BBQ, and I would like to brew a special beer for the occasion.

As the old boy was a mega swill drinker (and I mean MEGA), I am not too concerned about finding a style that he would have drunk ( I don't want to make VB ).

Dad was a boy from the bush, so I am not wanting to make a mango lambic etc.

Given that I have two months, and it will be a hot summer, I would appreciate any suggestions for a beer/recipe.

This will be an AG beer.
