Hey guys and girls,
Brewed a Belgian Ardennes, with
Wyeast 3522
A tin of Coopers Real Ale 1.7kg
2 tins of Morgans Unhopped Extra Pale Liquid Malt (1.5kg each)
Made to 23L (About 7%)
Been in the bottle about a month.
Tried the first one last night, about an hour after I had a Leffe Brune, and the similarity in flavour was uncanny
Lighter in colour, but IMHO very close in taste and mouth feel.
I was not particularly trying to get that taste, but am cetainly not upset by this nice little discovery
I wanted to ask if this is the yeast used in their brew (anyone know or of heard this??),
And also.... was this just a fluke?
