Man you could just call it cider, tastes strongly of apple, yes I know it has been hot recently, and I took no precautions.

Does cider taste bad when fermented at high temp?

Oh and its not bad, but cider it is.

Edit: Oh and I meant to mention, *bring on the lager weather*

mmm Fusel Alcohol,yum.

Ferment cooler, put fermenter in water with ice bricks/frozen filled coke bottles ect.

Fan on fermenter with t-shirt over the top dipped in water for wicking affect.

Anything to keep fermentation around 18c

Cheers

spend $50 on an old fridge and replace the thermostat

easy

cheers

Ummm, am I going to have a shocking hangover in the morning?

probably, depending on how many beers you drink.

people told me 'oh when you drink homebrew you don't get hangovers' well that's shit, I drank a boatload and get hangovers pretty bad! not the worst I've ever had but pretty bad none the less!

As an ametuer brewer I take it on myself to drink as much as possible and report back on the effects in the morning.

Oh and for the record, I'm not prone to hangovers.

for me coopers gives me the biggest hangover not too bad off homebrew but its still there.
100 posts whoo hoo gonna have me another wicked elf pale ale!!!

Hangovers,I'm definitely an expert on a few

First off, don't have all day incapacitating hangovers like I did on commercial beer. But have also found that drinking beers with darker malts seem to lessen the impact next day.

Don't know why,just my 2cents worth

Sorry DJ, I'm just wondering if you don't lean towards the coopers, what is it you tend to drink?
