Well I just returned from watching the Warratahs thrash the Brumbies at Aussie stadium and it was a sell out .

I return to see some 'poor lost brewing souls' still online

How long do you spend on line???

Some days WAY TOO LONG

Way too much. :D

But if one of those poor souls was me, Pumpy, that is just cause my computer is always on, with one tab on AHB most of the time. The lights are on, but somebody may or may not be home.

Me too Recharge & Stuster it can be quite addictive

Nite Pumpy

i second that, I have been watching ahb for a while now, but it was always with an open tab. I'm with Stuster on this one, and you can't prove anything.

Hmm... how long?

That's hard to answer.

First, I don't go on every day any more- I used to, but I don't have the time right now! I go online whenever I do research- gives me a bit of a break in between all the academic craziness. So... for every hour I'm 'on' the forum, I'm spending around half of it not forumming. I'd average 3-5, or 8-9 hours per week here.

hehe, I can see the night owls on this forum :p

you are 8 hours ahead of me.

At evening, when Im sitting here with a glass of homebrew next to me, browsing the AHB, its deeply night already in Australia, nevertheless there are mostly some undismayed Homebrewer in the Forum. Or did they forget to switch off the computer? fell asleep?

What I wanna say is, browsing the Forum is almost as nice as brewing beer :super:

Have the forum in the background at work, but not actively perusing. Guess my "presence" skews the stats a bit.

Probably spend about an hour a day actually looking at posts at the site...

(half an hour at work and half an hour at home)

Stats are probably available from the server re the amount of time people/username(s) are logged on...

Would you really want to know?

LOL Domon! And, spot on bighanno!

I think AHB has become as addictive as brewing for me. A few weeks ago I thought to myself, this is getting ridiculous! I've started to use the, "Track This Topic," feature now to minimise the time I spend here. I've also copied down the major threads I use in posts.

What I found is that I'd come home after a long hot day and have a beer while checking out AHB. After finding myself still having a beer and checking out AHB hours later, I thought this has got to stop before I turn into a total derro! Hence the above!

It's all good fun! (Beats doing GST) ;)

Way to bloody long and getting longer.

Everytime I sit down to do some work on the 'puter I fire AHB up in the background. I then soon find myself reading AHB instead of doing what I'm spos' ta'. Can't be good anyone...

Usually a few times per day when I'm at work. It also depends on how active members have been posying topics/replies :)

i was always worried that i'd miss out on a bulk buy!
that's one of the best parts of the AHB community :)

I work from home and always have the browser (with AHB minimized) on in the background. So that puts me roughly in the 8 hour a day categeory. :D

Big brother Warren is watching!

I spend a week in Fiji with no TV, phone or internet. I come home and the first site I log onto is AHB. Am I addicted?

Cheers.
