Hey y'all.
Just thought i would let you know that i've managed to get some hops after searching all over the web to find some in tassie.
As you probably know its difficult/impossible to get live hops imported into tassie.
i've picked up some rhizomes from hopco today, and got a couple of plants from tas home brewing yesterday.
Rather than post a private number on the internet maybe PM me if you want hopco's contact number.
The rhizomes hopco had readily available was:
Hersbrucker
cascade
POR.
He also had a couple of willamette, tettnang and golding. He might have a few more, so its probably worth contacting him if you want to check what he has available at the moment.
Super nice bloke and good to deal with.
THBS had hallertau, hersbrucker columbus, millenium and cascade plants. They may have more. best check with them direct. Again, THBS were great to deal with, and really friendly.
I fully recommend buying through both of these avenues.
