This gem of a machine has been in constant use for the last 40 years and no doubt will reach its first half-century still in perfect running order.

When it was first acquired only housewives were supposed to use it, back in the days when Indigenous persons were Boongs and Gins, LGBT persons were feckin perverted poofs and dykes and Housewives knew their place (kitchen, CWA Cake stall, or delivery ward).

Any real man called Bill or Bruce or Stan would die rather than be seen wielding such a sheilah article but would condescendingly buy her one for her birthday, with a pat on the head ... there ya go love, just off to the pub for the session, takin' a couple of two dollar notes out of the kitty jar for it, what's for tucker this arv?

Man this device has seen some changes but still whacks out the perfect pumpkin soup, at least some things don't change. Hangs pinafore behind kitchen door.
