H.o.p.s. Meeting

Couldn't fine a post on this one.

For all those that don't know the Hobart Organoleptic PractitionerS will be meeting on Wed 21st Nov 6-8pm at the New Sydney Hotel.

For those that don't know, HOPS is a once every 3-4 month gathering, where Willie Simpson (beer critic for the SMH) brings down a few beers and brewers and we all drink :icon_drunk: their beer and listen them crap on for a while.

Anyway, I thought it might be a good op to meet some of the AHB's from Hobart.

Cost is $25, which buys you beer and food for the two hours, Willie has suggested that you turn up early since numbers are being limited to 75 (due to overcrowding at the last meeting), I will be at the New Syd around 5:30pm.

Here is what Willie wrote in his last email:

Next gathering will be a Moo Brew versus Matilda Bay, of sorts, with a keg
of unfiltered Redback (now brewed at Cascade) and a keg of Moo Brew Pilsner
(tasting better than ever) plus . some wood-aged Moo Stout - same
blockbuster beer sampled at August HOPS but further matured in new oak casks
for several months. Finishing off with MB Alpha Pale Ale in a badged Matilda
Bay glass which is yours to keep. Plus usual tasty finger food from
super-chef Mark and usual gabfest from brewers.
