I certainly agree that bulk priming is easier if using different size bottles and Ive bulk primed a lot of batches and do so for beer that require a more precise carb level
like english ales, stouts and the like. For lagers or ales that require a higher level I prefer to use the drops and its easier chopping drops then sanitising a second vessel and transfer tube then
transferring over before bottling.
Ive also found bulk priming to be a little hit and miss, often being under carbed for what I was looking for.

And yes it does take long time to wash those 30ml bottles but its a safety issue much smaller bomd if they go off :) .
 
Each to their own yum, but I would have thought cutting carb drops would be high risk as far as sanitation is concerned.
I would imagine that you have to hang onto one with your hand to cut them.....

Yeah, I expect a full batch worth would take some time.

No wonder you need to chop up the carb lollies!
