Chuck Hahn is shouting beers at the Cricketers in Surrey Hills 5.30-6.30 then moving down the road to Durty Nellies in Paddo at 7pm

Was good to chat to Chuck over a couple of beers at the Cricketer's. Don't know if he really wants to try out our "beers"- probably too hoppy and alcoholic for him. He was really trying to hype the Super Dry

The latest low carb brew out of Lion Nathan, though packaged under the Hahn label.

Yeah, an american style "light" low-carb. Obviously trying to follow in the footsteps of Carlton Pure Blonde. He said they use amylase and a very long mash to get very high attenuation. They were there shouting GOlden Ale though which i wasn't complaining about.

mmmm Golden ale, then went down to try the Belgian inspired Abbey Ale at the Brewhouse. A very pleasant tripel, made me feel like having some blue cheese with it.
