Hi All,

For sale is my Glycol chiller i built a few years ago, works great but never really got much use...
Could be used for chilling a tap or fermentation temp control.

$250 for the whole unit, which comprises 10k btu aircon unit, modified esky, magnetic drive pump, manifold and temperature controller.

also included is a second temperature controller to switch the pump on and off to regulate temperature in a glycol jacket fermenter.

Cheers,

Tom.

Wort volume would it be capable of controlling?
Probably many variables but do you think it could manage to control 120L

Hi mate. obviously i can't guarantee it, but there should be no issue.
I had it doing two 23l Carboys and it barely ever switched on..

last i used it i had the glycol temp set to 2c with about a 5c differential to limit cycling, however this can also be lowered so you've got more cold reserve prior to the compressor kicking on.
