Hey Guys,
I dont make too many posts, but I read the site for inspiration, knowledge and recipes.
I have finally finished putting together my bar. I bought the bar itself, made a few mods (removed a piece here and there, drilled holes etc etc) bought the 3 tap flooded font from ebay - about $200 from memory. Bought the rubber backed (new) bar runners from ebay - about $20 each - Bought a bar fridge that fits perfectly under the bar and finally sourced some 9L kegs to go in the little fridge. The CO2 and reg fit under the bar on the other side of the fridge, behind the doors. Power for flooding the font and running the fridge is at the side of the bar.
Its taken a lot of hours searching for the right bits and pieces and I estimate about $1500 all up to complete but its worth it. It may even be a good price?
Best thing about it is, my wife loves it, loves the beer and helps with the brewing & cleaning.
She loves having our mates round for a beer or two so there's never any of that nastiness you sometimes hear of, between and man and his hobby V 'The wife'
A winner on all counts.
Thanks to all you regulars, even though you didnt know you were helping me.
Take a look at the pics and any advice will be accepted happily.
Regards,
mckenry.
