My first imperial stout :)

A recipe inspired by some of those I have seen posted here. All extract as I am still assembling the gear to go partial/full mash. 12 Litres as that is the size of the boiler I have. It's a starting point...

The brew went well, all to plan. The Yeast starter went nuts on me, the most lively starter I have ever had, a 1 inch krausen in the starter has to be a good sign. Just waiting for the brew to finish cooling to ferment temps (18c) to pitch the yeast and it should be a goer.

I'm really looking forward to tasting this one on a couple of months :)

Damn. Wish I had listed to the Jamil show first. I hope the hops are high enough on this one.
