I am thinking of putting this down. A new one for me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Munton's Yorkshire Bitter + yeast supplied
500g DDME
500g crystal malt steeped 30min
hopped:
15g EKG at 20min
15g EKG at 10min
15g EKG at 0min

Depends how to style you want it but considering the tin will be pre bittered, I would be dropping the amount of hops down unless you are more after UK IPA.

Too low OG and too high hopping may not balance well on your palate.

I would be going

tin
500-750g dme
250 UK crystal
200 victory
250-500 dex or invert syrup

ekg at 10 and 0 (or 0 only)

UK liquid yeast like 1318, 1099 0r 1469 (but I can understand the expense and possible first time confusion about liquids might put you off that)

Thanks mate.
I had pretty much the same concerns about OG vs hops but I do like my hops.

Also, should the hops be going into the fermenter or should I be removing them?

I'm pretty new at this and looking to improve my beers.

Either or mate, I used to strain them out with this sort of beer bit many just bung em in with no reported negative effects.
