I have an immersion chiller after doing about 30 or 40 no-chill batches.

Fairly big difference. The beers are nowhere near as bitter (I used to adjust the hops downwards too) and have a different hop character. Better integrated and more flavour and aroma.

Plus I can pitch about 30-40 mins after the boil finishes.

So with this in mind, last weekend I boiled with all hop additions as if I was to Chill.
then a brief whirlpool and dump into the cube.
Squeeze out all air and seal.
then dump the cube into a cold water bath.

Hey, BF. How long do you leave before whirlpooling? On my system the convection doesn't usually settle for about 15 minutes with a single batch and 25 ish with a double.
Just wondering if the amount of crap going into the cube is increased by cubing so soon.
I have a kids pool (about 100 litres) that would be perfect to try this with...
Cheers.
