That West End Keg Must have not been stopped by our border quarantine!

They have bins to thoughtfully dispose of any West End product at our state lines - next to the fruit fly ones.

Will have to get them to be more vigilant!

Here is your chance to buy an old cool room - in working condition, although it hasn't been turned on for three years! The cool room resides in a commercial kitchen attached to an old age home in Brighton which is no longer in use.
The wining bidder gets to grab what he/she wants - shelving, door, compressor, motor, panels, etc. What you leave behind, the wrecker will take!

er....What do they do with a coolroom in and old-age home... :icon_vomit:

Because the waste skip is only emptied once a week at "Gods waiting room", you can store soiled incontinence pads and linen there until bin night, to keep the flies away during the heatwave months, is one suggestion!

we have only just pulled out an old fridge like that from our butcher shop, we couldnt even give it away, trying to dismantle that fridge to put back up will be a nightmare, all the inside panels when they come off will make a lot of damage , it isnt one off the new foam panel type fridges, those old ones were made to last, not to be pulled apart, also the gas in it is probably the old r12 which you would have to change, this will work out quite expensive, i wouldnt even consider buying that.

Some fool will see all the SS for scrap value and it will save the current owners the job of ripping it out.

This is pure opportunism on the part of the current owner, I assume not wanting to do the hard work or not knowing that there is some scrap metal value there. Lets face it, that temp gauge is probably worth $1, all day long (If it works)

It would be a nightmare to put it back together, but if you got time, little money and a place for it, it could be a goer!

I see it's at $510 right now!

Cooney Commercial/Bar Fridge Currently $80 - no bids. Ends today @ 21:42:36
2080H x 700W x 660D

(internal space: 1400 x 620 x 580)

The Fine Print:

the fridge itself is around 22years old and was purchased for $2200.
it was made to order this size, for our family home.
it is in excellent general condition, and quite clean.
entirely made from high grade stainless steel.
not a single sign of spotting or corrosion.
the motor and condenser are basically new, replaced 2years ago.
as were the door seals.
but:

the fridge was re-gassed at this time, about 2yrs ago.
but seems to have very slowly lost it's charge.
it would easily cool to 0deg, but now it can only cool to 6-10deg
to do this it runs constantly, and does not shut down occasionally.
like fridges normally do
the light sockets for the internal fluro light short out the fridge.
moisture gets to them, they may just replacing, and so the light switch is taped up.
we were told it must have a leak, and this might be hard to find.

so i can not guarantee this fridge can be fixed.

It's just in such good condition otherwise, with almost new parts,

that maybe a fridge mechanic somewhere might want to have a go.

A new fridge of this quality would cost many thousands,

it would be worth paying for a mechanic if you would like a great quality,

classy stainless steel bar fridge.

That is a great looking fridge, however, theses old things are about as noisy as a bus taking off from stop on a steep hill - 120 dB when running. Great for outside, if you live on a farm, and so are Eclectus Parrots!

They are a good brand of pump. I got one from a boat acc shop, 12V for my camping shower.

Just be careful as the one listed there is 24V, not much good without an expensive transformer at home, but good for you prime mover truck.

If you don't want to get a transformer, you can run it off two car batteries with out any worries. Would be worth the effort and no dangers of using mains power around wet areas.

Are you selling this, or just, for some reason, excited that there's a pump there? Either way, knock it off.

EDIT: coming from your town, so I'm going to assume it's yours. The listing says "thermally protected to pump hot liquids". This doesn't mean anything. What is the temperature rating of the pump? It also says food grade, and this doesn't mean anything either. What is the material of the head, shaft, impeller, seals, or other parts in contact with the medium?
