i have a kolsch sitting in my ferment fridge @ 2 deg, ccing for a couple of days at that temp, i have a blonde waiting in a cube which i usually throw in the fermenter with us05.

i am wondering how the wlp 036 trub would handle the blonde instead of using the us05.
probably leave half the trub in the fermenter and throw the blonde in, anyone made a blonde using wlp036 yeast, how will it differ in taste with the 036 yeast compared to us05.
very happy with the blonde us05 combination but thought i might experiment a bit.

WLP036 will be fine. It's pretty clean, just keep the temperature lowish (16-18C) and CC/lager it a bit if you want it nice and clean.

I made a real good Kolsch with it, much the same for a blonde i'd expect
