That a 36L boil pot will be surfice for single batch AG kettle?

cheers

Should be big enough but won't give you a lot of room to contain boil overs. I have a pre boil volume of about 31L, depending on the recipe, and find I can still have an occasional boil over with my 50L kettle if I am not paying attention.

I used a 40L pot for years with no issues. I dial the gas back slightly so I'm getting a good boil, with the surface breaking, without it going crazy.
You can always drop the batch size slighltly to accomdate your pot...

I reckon you should get the biggest pot you can afford. A bigger pot makes things a lot easier.

I boil 44 litres in a 50 litre keggle. Need to watch it when it gets to the boil, but never had a boilover in the last few years. I have an old hair product bottle of my wife's full of water. If it looks like its going crazy i'll spray it, and its fine. I haven't needed it in years. Basically, when i see the surface bubble, i knock back 2 of my 3 burners ( 3 ring ). Works great.

It'll be fine.

I brew 20lt batches, and my pre boil is 25 and a bit. If i did a 23lt batch id be around 28/29. Very doable but keep an eye on it for boilovers, particularly when you add the bittering addition......green soup everywhere!

I do the same, spray bottle with water and give it a squirt if it gets too excited. That coupled with knocking back the gas a few notches (i use a jet burner so it can get out of hand pretty quick) and I'm yet to have a boilover.
