Well ... some said I wouldn't keep at it (no-one on this forum), but I did and today I have brewed my 100th brew :beerbang:
Brew 100 was: Brewers Selection Pilsner
Having started "the hobby" to save money (SWMBO suggested it would be a good idea), I think it's turned me into a bit of a beer sl?t.
For 16 years I thought Carlton Draught was the second best best in the world (Grolsch was #1)
Today, I refuse to drink tap beer at a club as it tastes and smells like dirty socks. Oh, I refuse to drink Carlton Draught too!
I have in the last few months collected (and consumed) over 100 different beers ... (there's been some shockers!) they're all taking up room in the Garden Shed.
Oh, and my wife got back on the beer and loves the home brew as well.
Considered I would never go onto to AG because I was very happy with my Kit or Extract brews, but since tasting the Brewers Selection ... who knows, brew 200 could be an AG Pilsner!?!
Visit this site regularly. It has contributed enormously to how and what I brew.
Cheers all.
:super:
