For those interested in sitting the BJCP exam:
The BJCP has just announced that it has available a limited number of flavour/aroma kits to help people prepare for the exam. Its only avilable to those who either have an exam already scheduled or will schedule one, but the kits are FREE. Normally these things go for about $US200.
They provide the following taints:
* Acetaldehyde
* Butyric
* Chlorophenolic
* Diacetyl
* DMS (Dimethyl Sulfide)
* Ethyl Hexanoate (fruity)
* Grainy
* Metallic
* Musty
(sorry Little Squares, no ribes)
