Ladies and Gents,

I saw an article about a beer called 'Shazzam' on AHB. I have followed some recommendations and want to brew something similar, even though I have never tasted the original.

Have a look at the recipe. I am wanting to know if this appears at all good, or have I thown it to the dogs? :p

Cheers.

Looks great (even though I'm not a fan of early chinook additions):super: - make sure you send us a bottle if you need a second opinion B)

The brewer of that beer frequents this board, so hopefully he'll chime in and critique your recipe.
The OG looks a tad high though as it came in at 9.2% from memory.

Beers,
Doc

I hope youve tried chinook in those quantities before Territory brew as not everyone likes it.Fortunately i do and used 85 grams in the sister star of the sun recipe. One unreal beer but not one that all enjoyed.Recipe looks ok and comes out slightly higher in ibu,s than the sister.

Cheers

It's kind of hard to know how to advise you without knowing what kind of beer you are aiming for. I'm guessing you want something hoppy, but then you don't have very big late additions or any dry hopping. I'm not sure also why you have so many additions between 60 and 45.
