When we played Rugby back in the seventies, we knew the virtues of beer both before and after the game. There was never any water to have a shower anyway in those days. Don't think of us as drunks, we never drunk beer during the game. Stones Green Ginger Wine (when we played at Camdem, Bowral or Goulburn in winter) or McWilliams Port in the wet at Kiama or just about anywhere else) was a much better half time tipple. Now that's why I played Wombats Rugby !!!!
