I suggest you try emailing on ozcraftbrewer. The mystery people apparently check that group, but are infrequently on AHB. As for your conclusions, 1 is certainly true, 2 is not, 3 is probably right, depending on who you ask. Finally, its a sad state of affairs, but 4 is probably the most accurate.
