Oi fellow Adelaideans.
Was driving around yesterday (yes, i was supposed to be working) looking for a fridge or chest freezer to put my newly acquired kegs in. Decided on going for an older style all-fridge which gives me enough room to fit in 3 cornies plus a few shelves for glasses and other beverages.
Anyway, went into the radio rentals 2nds shop on south road, behind the ent centre. They have a 700L chest freezer for about $700. Its a monster and pretty much brand new. i realise thats a lot of money but for someone who has a lot of kegs or wants to fit in kegs and cubes it would do the job.
FWIW - wash and dry on Sir Don Bradman Ave is where i scored my all fridge but there are a couple of shops on port road hindmarsh that sell 2nd hand fridges/freezers. A tad more expensive than on ebay but you dont see many sell in Adelaide on ebay. And dont believe the price on the fridge cos each time i showed an interest in a fridge they offered me a lower price....... That haggle bloke, annoying as he is, seems to be doing something good for us.
