Just a quick shout to everyone that's offered advise with all the questions I've asked.

Just put down my first AG. :beerbang:

I used TL's Kilkenny clone recipe, and ended up with 66% effiency on my first run. I found I boiled off too much wort in the 60 minute boil so I need to allow for more boil off volume.

Also used the no chill method putting the jerry can outside last night bought it down to 18c.

Ferment is now sitting in the bath tub, and will hopefully start to bubble very shortly.

Well done Francis, welcome to the dark side. Try to maintian temp control during the fermentation and you will end up with a great beer.

cheers

Good job sicnarf, i really enjoy making beer the AG way, so much cleaning but it's still fun.

What have you got planned for your next brew??
