I've made & bottled a simply stunning NEIPA two months ago and it's hitting peak drinkability just now. No issues with oxidation, my only issue is that when the bottles are transported before consumption then the yeast sediment is stirred up which makes the last 1/4 of the bottle...
So I read this in the Coopers Malt thread, and it resounded with my experience brewing with Galaxy - why mine is so bad (apart from my own faults/capabilities).
Can anyone else shed light on what they would avoid for early addition (bittering) hops, from either a resource or from experience...
So the other day I impulse bought 100g of Fuggles (30% off at LHBS), checked the date on them when I got home and they are 2014 harvest (explains the discounted price :eek:). Got sucked in with the discount, never brewed with Fuggles before, so didn't really know what to do with them
