Hi, I have recipe which specifies one pack of yeast, the total volume of the recipe is 11 litres. I plan on using a pack of Fermantis US-05 yeast, however it says on the pack its enough for 20-30 litres. So just wondering if its going to be to much if I use the whole pack,or should i halve it...

Hi, Has any one used glass soft drink bottles to bottle their brew? As there are a lot of carbonated waters and soft drinks that come in 750ml bottles that I'd like to use. I suppose the hard thing would be getting caps. Thanks, Paul

Hi, When i use to bottle jams and sauces I used to sterlize jars by boiling them, would this also work for beer bottles? Usually i boiled them for 15 minutes and the cooled them. If i go the sodium percarbonate route, then how long should i soak them for? Thanks, Paul

Hi, I am about to bottle my first brew and was having a trial run with the bench capper. When i cap a non-screw top bottle the caps kind of crimps below the lip of the bottle, however when i cap a screw top bottle it doesnt sit as well or crimp under, is this still ok? I have attached a photo...

Hi, I was going to rack my gluten free brew into a 25 liter water cube. Does any one have any ideas how to get the smell out of the cubes first? As i figure this will taint the flavor of the brew. If i soak it in a sterilizing solution will that help and if so how long can i soak for? Thanks...
