Thanks for the reply - I'd be keen on your thoughts going from single vessel to 3V. Everything gets bigger and more complicated - real estate, cleaning, pipework, etc. The volume output is understandable - ironically, I'm trying to go the other way......

OK, question for the brains trust. Might be seen as blasphemy. I'm very happy with my cobbled together 3V system - I built it and I know the ins and outs of it, all day long. But it's big, and cleaning can be a drag. Has anyone gone from 3V to 1V (Brew in a Basket)? My preference would be 3...

Thanks Razz, will definitely check that. Far simpler first step to resolve as well! Home in a few weeks, and will let you know how it goes. Cheers

    RIS - Clogged in Keg?

G'day everyone, Brewed and kegged an All Grain RIS. Everything went fine as far as brew day, fermentation, cold crashing, kegging etc.... This year I am working away from home a lot. All the brew hardware, including the mill and other equipment off screen came to about $1800. Went with kegs that I cut, drilled and polished to keep kettle costs down. I got lazy with the brew stand and just threw $$$ at it. I can work with timber, but I consider myself pretty useless with...

Here's mine. New to the forum. Been brewing on this system for 6 months now. Gas fired BK. Gas also on the HLT to do the heavy lifting and then a 2000W element for maintaining temp. HERMS with 2 pumps. Basic Keg King temp controller to keep at target temp. Will eventually move to a proper...

Hi everyone. Moved back to CBR about a year ago for work, and have recently moved into all-grain in the last 6 months. 3V HERMS system I built over the Christmas break is pictured below. Have got 16 brews on it since Jan 18. Am loving the move to AG and am looking forward to learning more about...
