    Braumeister 20L tripping safety switch

Thanks guys ... I think trying it at another house is a good suggestion. Although, I have been using it via the same socket for over 100 batches without fault, so seems a little odd that it would start tripping all of a sudden. Cheers!

Is it more likely to be a household circuit issue than the BM itself?

    Braumeister 20L tripping safety switch

Hi All, Any Braumeister brewers had any troubles with their unit tripping a safety switch? Was hoping to knock out a brew today but every time the Braumeister switches on the heating elements my safety switch trips. All the connections seems dry and secure, so not sure what it could be (i'm no...

    F&p Chest Freezer 275l

    F&p Chest Freezer 275l

Hi All, Hoping someone might have one of the 275L Fisher & Paykel Chest Freezers (Slimline) and could help me with the internal dimensions? I have the outer dimensions from websites, but wondering if my fermenters (pails) etc will fit OK inside - their diameter is roughly 36cm. I need to buy...

Braumeister 20l - Volume Into Fermenter

Awesome, thanks for the fast reply ... I guess you could do some tricks like diluting a bit with boiling water before starting the full boil? Or rinsing the grain with a little extra water after the mash cycle?

Braumeister 20l - Volume Into Fermenter

Hi peoples, I'm tempted by one of the Braumeister 20 litre systems but was hoping someone who brews on the system could let me know what final volumes they are actually getting into their fermenter. I read that with a "normal beer" it can produce 25 litres of wort but I wanted to make sure as...

Liquid Vs Dry Yeast - Im Converted - Should I Be?

A lot of micro's over here in the UK are using dry yeast; some just sprinkling in when transferring into fermenters. They are making beers that people are going crazy over, can't make enough to sell - a notable one is even mixing US05 & Nottingham when pitching, crazy. Dry yeast might not...
