    Stockpile

From experience, what do you guys think is the optimum time beer should be aged in the bottle? 6 months, 1 year, 3 years??? I'm currently on a bit of a drive to get my stocks right up, but theres no point doing it if they are gonna be in the bottle too long.

    'battle Of The Toucans'

I've been meaning to do my first toucan for a while but haven't got around to it. Picked up a can of Coopers Bitter and one of Tooheys Lager on special last week so thought they could be my first. Is this a good mix, or are they not compatible? Should i use 1 yeast or both, or something else...

    Vb Disaster!

I don't think CUB will give a toss what a few readers in a news columns comments section, or a home brewers online forum, say. We all know (including CUB) that they are still gonna sell truck loads of the stuff. I don't mind the stuff. :)

Don't know Afro, but i do know that because co2 is so cold, it can freeze up parts that are not designed for use with it.

You Can Lead A Horse To Water...

Best topic i've read in ages guys. It was like i could see my future layed out in front of me (lol), as i have been doing basic K & K's for a couple of years, and was starting to wonder if i would be stuck doing them for ever. Thats the main reason i went surfing the net and found this site, to...

    Chasing Some Longnecks Melbourne Area

Any function centres that serve out of longnecks go through hundreds. Try them. Give Sladen House a ring in Geelong. Won't hurt to ask.

    Distilling Alcohol

No. An Alcometer is used to measure the % of alcohol in a liquid, while a Hydrometer is used to measure the specific gravity of a beer wash. I'm only a newbie, but I'm fairly certain thats the case. I use both, 1 for beer, and 1 for spirits. From my experience, the Alcometer is fairly useless...

    Party Kegs

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-New-Portable-...1QQcmdZViewItem One of these Geoffi. I believe they also use them to inflate bike tyres to save carrying a pump, so a bike shop may also stock them. Is that what you use KoNG?

Eco Kegs Soon To Be Available To Hbrs

Pity they can't just make the bladders with a flat bottom so they can sit upright in the fridge, although i'm sure it would be easy to create a base or cradle. The outer seems to be just a protective skin to protect the bladder while transporting. If they are to be used by home brewers, they...

My staple beer was beer; I'll drink any beer on the planet. Of course some are better than others, but i don't really care. Just put a beer in front of me. :)
