    hi, did you start the yeast to prove it is ok before pitching to the fermenter. i.e. in a small bowl of warm water and sugar add the yeast and stir ,and in a few minutes the yeast will produce a froth if it is alive and o.k. i hope it helps. cheers,alan

    hi, i cannot see the quantity of additional amarillo hops that you used. let us know the weight of hops and the infusion time, so that the final bitterness can be estimated. i tried another brand of canadian blonde and it was a bitter brew without additional hops. cheers alan

    hi, could you tell us when the white film was noticed. ie. was it at the end of fermentation.? high ambient temp at the end of fermention can cause a white film. the white film usually ruins the beer. cheers alan
