    I'm currently looking at going elec heating for my biab setup. More accurate/auto temp control is what does it for me! I could see a propane/elec system working. Propane for fast heatup and electrical control for maintaining and step changes in temp

    Afternoon, I've been considering giving my backyard brewery a name :) last night I seen an owl on the fence 1st one I've ever seen. So I'm thinkin that it should be called Wise Owl Brewing Co (actually might register the name) what do you think? What's the name of your home brewery?

    Gee 10 meters that's a lot of pipe. I guess it's abit of a play off between length and diameter haha na I've found that clamping the line slightly allows me to keep the keg pressure up and the hose length short. I'm not sure if this is common practice but so far it's working for me :)

    Thanks for the reply guys!! I think the issue is that my outlet line is to short last night a pinched in a couple of places and adjusted the reg till I got a good flow which was about 12 psi. The beer came out great! Thanks again

    Good to hear both sides of the coin! I understand that there is a huge amount of red tape to get through, I guess this is the reason there is not more people doing craft brews. But I believe the craft brew movement still has a lot of growth. The more aussies making good quality the better I say!!
