Just personal taste, I'd add some Chinook later on. Maybe the 10 minute or the 0. I like it for flavour as well as bittering. It'll give you some nice resin to go in with the galaxy/fruit.
I just ran into a couple of lezzos I know having a feed of chinky down the local bowlo and they were sloppin' down the Coopers Pale like it was nobody's business.
With his stomach rumbling loud enough to tell him that he’s going to be much more hungover for choosing to not eat, Charlie is now eyeing off the complimentary lamingtons placed next to the coin machine in the air-conditioned smokie pokies.
Micko, pretty much what menoetes said. If you boil your ldme 100gm to the litre and then add your hops. I found 20min to be long enough and or a 0min addition.
1 can lager
1kg ldme
10g Cascade @ 20min
20g Cascade @ 0min
Kit yeast
Was an old favourite.
I read in a book that combining noble hops and american C hops basically couldn't fail. So I tried Cascade and Hersbrucker together and was very happy with the result.
Do you have a couple/few fermentors? I ditched one recently after a couple of tip outs and the others were going fine given the same saniisation routine. It was a couple years old and a bit of scratching on the bottom of it. Made it an easy scapegoat for the problem.
That C hop combo is a cracker mate. Made a couple of extract batches a while back and am drinking them now. Keen to apply the same thing to an AG brew once I get some more Chinook.
