    Are co2 bulbs, co2 bulbs?

    Are co2 bulbs, co2 bulbs?

Just had a closer look and it says the contents is UN1013 and after a bit of research its at least industrial grade and I seems a lot of homebrewers use this in there bottles so think I'm all good

    Are co2 bulbs, co2 bulbs?

Ah right so its the lubricant on the machinery that's the difference. Like I said I did a test bulb into a cup to see if any fluid or anything came out and nothing did so I would think it must be such a tiny amount if any. And I'm just pushing the beer not carbonating so I'm leaning towards...

    Are co2 bulbs, co2 bulbs?

Hey guys I'm bringing a keg to my parents place for Christmas and was going to use my keg king mini reg to push the beer. I've got some x tech co2 cartridges for filling bike tires at home and was wondering if they would be OK for this? The last lot of cartridges I bought (also for bike tires)...

    Keg hopping techniques

I was actually looking at getting one of those filter things and probably will but for today I might go with a stocking. Is there a particular type or brand people like to use?

    Keg hopping techniques

So i have keg hopped 2 batches now using a hop sock and have had great results with the hop aroma, far more that with dry hopping in the fermenter. My only issue is hop floaties and poor clarity which I put down to my hop sock having too bigger holes. I have heard of people using stocking and...

    Efficiency frustration

If I were you I would crush really fine and do a biab. I had issues with my efficiency for my first 6-7 batch's until I got milled grain from craftbrewer and my efficiency jumped 15-20 points compared with the grain I was getting from my lhbs. Before this I had tried everything to no avail and...

    Keg King Elements

I just got one of the new ones from craftbrewer yesterday after my old one blew (it still lasted a year and a half). I asked if they had any problems with the new version and they claimed to have not had any returns of the new model.

    finally starting sour program

Big + for bottle dregs, I'm currently drinking a sour saison that is soured just with dregs from 5 bottles of my favourite sours and only 8 months old and it is beautiful and noticeably sour.

    finally starting sour program

I would add bacteria in secondary for a Flanders red as its supposed to be a bit cleaner, but its up to you really. Lambics don't use a secondary as some of the flavour comes from the Brett feeding on the dead sacch yeasts. I wouldn't worry about the bacteria working under pressure they will...

Style Of The Week 11/10/06 - Saison

Looks fine to me mate, bitterness should be pretty spot on if you no chilled and I like my saisons strong. Also wouldn't worry to much about flavour/aroma hops as this style is all about the yeast.
