Why not? The proceeds of the float will be redirected back into infrastructure (or surplus if your cyclical like me). The aim of government is to services and infrastructure. Australia Post has since the advent of online shopping moved from that to a very profitable company in its own right...

I did it heaps of times before getting a brew fridge and it was never a problem. Your biggest enemy will be light striking your brew.

If by tub you mean fermenter the this will make the trub settle to the bottom and clear it out. You can use gelatin in the keg to clear out your beer when you rack it from the primary. I generally use about 1teaspoon to about 100mls of near boiling water. This clears the kegged beer quicker...

With this batch it's still fermenting and doesn't look like finishing anytime soon. Can't wait to have a sample :)
