    New Brewer!

    Meads are great if made well but they give you hangovers. I heard there's something in honey that stays in after the fermentation and buggers you up. I also know they take quite a while to ferment out. But they are nice!!!! That's all I know, i'm all about beer.

    Liquid Yeast Dormant, Need Help Quick!

    I had a bad experiance with liquid yeat once. Ordered some from across the state. By the time it got here it took way to long to activate. It was dead!!! Ended up with some crappy beers after pitching emergency dry yeset. These liquid yeast is fregile as all. Take good care with them

    Do you use maris otter? I find that to give a bit of a "woody" taste to the beer. Did you find that?

    I've brewed about 5 all grain. Still to get that sparge trick right. Hard work. But beers come out great anyway. Just need to ajdust your efficiency in brewsmith.

    Mate I'm polish and after living here for 20 years i still got a thick, heavy accent which gets worse the more i drink but i'm about as aussie as they come. Listening to Pink Floyd right now. Great music for beer and a game of darts.

    Water - Is It Ok To Use Hot Water Tap?

    I use hot tap water whenever I can to speed things up. Never noticed any problems with it but not sure about if hot water is beeter at picking up crap from the pipes.
